This racing guide is intended to provide racers and race officials a standard set of technical regulations which will be adhered to. The term race official refers to race officers and supporting crew members.
The Sim Racing League 2955 is a multi-event Arena Commander racing tournament run throughout the year.
A single event will likely go for 2 hours.
Ship races are run in Classic Racing mode with 3 heats and a final with 3 rounds each.
Placement in the tournament for all 3 of your heats are sorted by a random number generator. Your party and heat assignments will be given to you on the day of the tournament.
Three ship race tracks to be used for an event day will be determined by a randomized wheel of names livestreamed to all participants. The track assignment to heats and final rounds will be like so:
Ground races are run in Free Flight mode with everyone racing at the same time in a single race that may either be time or lap based depending on the vehicle.
Ground race tracks used will be chosen by the Race Director.
One racing class is selected each event to race until all racing classes have been raced at least once throughout the league.
The Sim Racing League has a detailed set of Official Rules that must be followed by all participants.
If you are signing up to the race please fill out the Sign Up Form and join the race event Discord.

Thanks for your interest in ANZIA events! 💖
All racers are expected to have read and understand the technical regulations of the event. Questions regarding the regulations should be presented to the race officials before the event.
In order to promote fairness for all players in the prized tournament, ships/vehicles only available on the pledge store are banned until they are available for purchase with REC (Arena Commander rental credits). Since promotion limited ships have the same performance characteristics as their freely available counterparts, they are an exception to this rule. Specifically, limited ships that are allowed for use include the Pirate Gladius, Mustang Omega, Sabre Raven, Pirate Caterpillar, and F7A Hornet etc.
All ships/vehicles can be modified without restriction.
Simply being part of the ANZIA Racing Discord is enough to participate, the only requirement is to be able to listen to race officer instructions during the race and respond to mentions in Discord chat before and after the race.
The race direction voice channel will enforce Push-To-Talk. Racers may briefly respond to the race officers, but should otherwise remain polite and respectful among the combined official and racer voice channel.
Discord voice channels will be provided for your races to run heats and the final in. Please remain polite and respectful of other racers when a racing match begins. Be kind and patient to each other and remember to take a screenshot of your race results together to build trust with each other and the racing community and maintain integrity of your result in the race. Recording or livestreaming your matches is also a great idea.
In the event that you need to report a rules violation or an incident requiring investigation, do so in the #incident-reporting channel in the official ANZIA Racing Discord.
